✨ ST. MARTIN’S DAY PROGRAM: Song, Wine, Tradition & “Cviček to Go”

Welcome by hosts in traditional Dolenjska folk costume
Tour of the 160-year-old house (part of the European network “Houses with Tradition”)
Insight into rural life in Dolenjska – past and present
Traditional wine toast in the old cellar
Multimedia presentation “The Story of Cviček” (20 min, 7 chapters: wine history, viticulture, wine vessels, wine patrons, wine regions, production of Cviček…)
Guided tasting of Cviček components: Dolenjsko white, Blaufränkisch, Žametovka — and finally the “King of Cviček,” presented by the Cviček Princess and the Slovenian Wine Queen, Ana Pavlin. Served with buckwheat bread and young cow’s cheese.
Transfer to Grčevje (on foot or by bus, 2 km)
Optional visit to St. George’s Church
Tour of 4 renovated vineyard cottages (150–200 years old) and introduction to Vineyard Cottage Tourism
On the Princess’s Terrace: group singing of Slovenian folk song »Mi se imamo radi«
Tasting of 3 resistant wine varieties, served with homemade flatbread
Optional: mix your own “Cviček to Go” in the 1848 wine cellar, bottled with your name and entry into the Golden Book of Cviček and Vineyard Cottage Ambassadors
