Our journey begins at Matjaž’s Homestead in Paha, a charming Dolenjska village, where warm-hearted locals greet us with open arms.

🏡 Welcome at Matjaž’s Homestead
We’ll be greeted by locals in traditional folk costume, with their signature warmth and a touch of humor.
After touring the carefully restored 160-year-old thatched-roof house, we descend into the wine cellar, where the host welcomes us with a cheerful wine toast.
On the old wooden barn floor, we enjoy a multimedia presentation “The Story of Cviček”, which tells—in seven vivid chapters—the history of Dolenjska wine, its patrons, and the origins of the unique Cviček.
Next comes a guided tasting of Cviček’s components (Dolenjsko white, Blaufränkisch, Žametovka), served with a rustic cold platter.
We conclude with the King of Cviček – the best vintage of the season, presented by the Cviček Princess.
🚶♂️ Adventure Walk: Lost Among the Vineyards
After a little “Cviček boost,” we set off on a guided vineyard walk (approx. 2 km), where the group must work together to find the hidden cottage and collect vineyard tools along the way.
At the finish line, you’ll take the Cviček Quiz and complete playful team challenges.
Through games, we explore the natural and cultural heritage of Dolenjska, while tasting resistant wine varieties in the Grčevje wine hills.
The event ends with the announcement of the winning team and a celebratory Cviček Team Cup.
